A member asked:

I have 3 kids 9, 8, 4 years old. what are the routine blood work they need? how frequently do they need blood work?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

None. : After the age of 4, routine blood work is generally not necessary as long as your kids are generally healthy. I would recheck their CBC and get a baseline cholesterol level when they reach adolescence at around 12 or 13.
