On the road: Especially road travel can mean long stretches w/out convenient toilet access. Even rest stops can mean unfamiliar or even dirty, yucky toilets. Road food can also be poor quality, or just different. All of these can combine to throw your digestion way off track. Often happens to me and also to my dog. She's learned to barely eat on long trips to avoid such problems. I've copied her and like it!

Gas-x: Try Gas-x or activated charcoal, both available over the counter. Avoid gas producing foods and check yourself for lactose intolerance- see if you are less gassy if you avoid dairy products.
