Had steroid induced gastritis. have been constipated for 5 days, took stool softeners but hasn't helped. is this normal after gastritis? treatments?

Constipation: After the gastritis, you may have changed your diet with increased fiber and different foods that may have now constipate you. Increase your fluids, you can try the old Prune juice remedy, but if the stool softeners and increasing your fluid intake is not helping, you may need to call your treating Dr. to get and evaluation and more definitive treatment for the stools.
