Subchorionic : It sounds like you have a subchorionic hematoma which is exactly what the doctor said --- a small bleed (clot or bruise) behind the placenta sac. Most do fine. Bleeding or spotting is common as the clot passes. The miscarriage risk is slightly elevated. Most cases resolve on their own without a problem
