ACL Surgery : These questions should have been answered for you by the post op instructions given to you after discharge from the Day Surgery Center . Each doctor has their own set of post op instructions . In general no weight bearing for a few days . Ice the knew to reduce pain . No return to full athletic activity for at least 6 months or until cleared by your physician . You need PT to transition into full
