Cipralex and cancer?: No. Cipralex, an SSRI often prescribed for depression and/or anxiety is not known to cause cancer. Most "problems in the body" (or side effects) that can be caused by cipralex are benign (not seriously harmful) and self-limited (they pass). Always discuss the risks, benefits, and potential side effects of any medication you may take with your doc. Rarely, SSRIs can cause serious side effects.
