A member asked:

Can hitting the spinal cord during sex cause cramping like menstrual cramps?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Spinal cord injury: Your spinal cord is highly protected, and it is very unlikely that your symptoms are caused by damage to it during sex. A more likely scenario is that your cervix is being impacted, which is very uncomfortable for many women. Painful intercourse can be a symptom of infection, so have yourself evaluated if changing positions during sex does not improve your comfort.
