Right away: Using the Nuva Ring does not prolong your chances of becoming pregnant. It might take a cycle or two, but you should be able to conceive (chances with any cycle are around 20-25%) next cycle. The only birth control that prolongs infertility is the Depot Provera (medroxyprogesterone) shot. All the others don't prolong infertility.
