How does one make the decision to have surgery (toupet fundoplications) when your quality of life is poor with the condition (constant reflux acid despite diet & meds) but you don't want it to be worse (risk for dumping syndrome, swallowing issues)?
I've been advised to have Fundoplication surgery. What is the recovery, to normal activity, process? I'm a 62 YO male that likes outdoor activities.
