Is it Gastric Fundop: Gastric fundoplication is one of the treatments recommended for Acid reflux or what is commonly called GERD. The best treatment for GERD is using PPI antacids such as Omeprazole of Nexium daily. Only if the PPI fails to provide good relief you should consider fundoplication which is a significant surgical procedure. It can take 2-3 weeks for recovery. Let me know what you chose to take.
