Cycle: It seems that likely this period was your first normal menstrual cycle. You didn't mention which IUD you had, but if it was a Mirena (levonorgestrel) IUD, then it's likely the Progesterone in the IUD was keeping the lining of the uterus thin and the periods light. Brown discharge is just old blood, nothing to worry about. The fact that you had spotting 2 weeks after your period, may or may not occur again.
