Substitute: Removing a tooth without making plans for it's replacement only substitutes one problem for another. Please see your Dentist. The best plan may be root canal treatment/crown or extraction/implant/crown or other options. Your Dentist can diagnose the cause of your pain and suggest appropriate treatment alternatives. One thing to be sure of, the longer you wait the less options will be available.
