A member asked:

I had a lump on my left tonsil after i threw up peaches 2 weeks ago, and i still have it it doesn't hurt its just what could it be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Asymmetric tonsils: You might have just noticed one tonsil appears larger than the other - this can be normal variant of tonsil anatomy. It might be a blood clot within the tonsil from trauma (retching) that caused it to swell. Or could be things unrelated to vomiting. If remains enlarged on one side for a month, have ENT examine your throat.
