A member asked:

Is oraquick accurate well after the 3 month window period? i.e. 7 months to 8 months?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: It is not as accurate as a full two stage blood test and must be followed up by a western blot but it is designed to be more likely to give a false positive than a false negative. So a negative should be truly negative. A positive must be followed up by a western blot.
