Work with your doc.: Unsteady or what i would term labile hypertension can be tricky, and due to several factors. If already have hypertension (a disorder of persistent elevated BP that can predispose to heart disease and strokes--and not just occasional high blood pressure). A high salt meal, episodes of emotional stress, being at the doc's office can all elevate BP even if HTN controlled. Work w doc, avoid stroke.
