I wouldn't: advise giving it. Nightime cough in an infant can be from a viral illnes, gastroesophageal reflux or mild asthma. Take him to his pediatrician for evaluation. OTC cough & cold medications are not rexommendef for children under 2.Bensdryl is an antihistamine that can thicken secretions, making it harder for baby to breathe.
