Taking fluoxetine hcl. just started increasing is 5mg every 4 days until i hit 60mg (at 40mg now). been getting chest tightness. feels muscular. help?

Too fast!: If you are feeling chest tightness , best to stay on the 40 or less until the chest tightness disappears. If you increase the dose while you have any SE, you will be increasing the side effects. How come you are automatically going up to 60mg?Usually go up to 20mg and stay on that for at least 4 to 6 weeks, only after that increase up to 30 or 40 mg and see how that does for a while.
