M ost people...: (not just men) do what they can get away with, where they can get away with it. If there are no consequences to a tantrum at home, that's where it's going to happen.

If your husband is : verbally abusive to you & you have children, they are victims of the abuse, as well. What the guys are saying is that a person only stops throwing tantrums if they are ignored by the consequence of immediate loss of social interaction. If you are the victim of verbal or psychological abuse & are fearful of leaving, call your local Committee to Aid Abused Women for help.
