Questionably: Methylparaben is used to preserve food and cosmetics. It is a fungicide and anti-bacterial agent, extending the shelf-life of a product. Evidence of this compoundhasbeen found in brast tissue but to the best information hasn't caused breast cancer which usually involves a virus entering into the Wnt-1 gene of the duct cells to initiate malignant treansformation
