Not ovulating: If you have PCOS, you are not ovulating. When you do bleed, you have what is called anovulatory bleeding, and you may not be shedding the entire lining. It is important that you a period that comes after exposure to a progestin, which is similar to the Progesterone you would make after ovulation. If you are not wanting to get pregnant now, the easiest way to do this is with birth control pills.
