Hopefully not: If you're cross tapering to a different antipsychotic, the dose of the new one is being increased as the old one is being decreased. So you are still covered by some antipsychotic medication, making the process reasonably safe. It can still be a tricky time, though -- and requires close follow up to be sure you respond as we'll to the new medication.
