Can you tell me how i could stop feeling like a horrible father?

Get guidance: Every parent makes mistakes. If the child's mother criticizes you unfairly, this may add to your difficulty. Don't expect your children ever to thank you or even act grateful -- that you're doing well is shown in their growing up happy. Please get with somebody wise and good, now, and talk -- about Dad skills & feelings. Read a couple of good books on parenting.
