Wait about 10 hours: after your last dose for it to wear off. Stimulants do not " build up" or stay in the bloodstream at a steady state. Any symptoms you have that are side-effects of Focalin (dexmethylphenidate) will be gone completely after 24 hours after your last dose. If your symptoms persist longer than that, they are not related to Focalin (dexmethylphenidate).
