Infection, etc.: Depending on your age/health situation, there may be drugs or other conditions that can affect urine. If there is a bad smell, it might mean something else is going on and a more serious disese might have to be ruled out. Infections, like trichomonas vaginalis can cause bad smelling urine, and other infections, like chlamydia can cause pelvic inflammatory disease. See your doctor to be sure.
