A member asked:

How could hypertension effect my vision?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Generally not: Ordinary degrees, even of uncontrolled hypertension, usually will not affect the vision. Only if you have frighteningly high blood pressure can there be a problem which could be edema of the back of the eye and sometimes bleeding. You will be very sick in other ways from this type of hypertension which requires immediate treatment.
