Maybe?: SCFE is a problem of teenagers when growth plates are still open. You may have symptoms similar if you have synovitis (inflammation) of the hip joint, bursitis or a more serious condition of the bone. I would be seen by a doctor and have an x-ray done.

See physician: See physician for evaluation and possible radiographic examination. SCFE usually diagnosed on pelvic radiograph.
