What are you asking?: I'm sorry about your mom, but trust that she's gotten a good initial response to chemotherapy. Many people like her do very well nowadays for up to several years. I hope that you and any grandchildren that she may have do not become smokers. If there is something more we can tell you, please ask again.

SCLC: Not sure what the question was, but prognosis overall is poor. Only about 1-10% of patients will be alive at 5 years. and the median survival is 12-18 months. Depends upon the extent of the disease at the time of treatment.
