Both : Both the psychologists and psychiatrists treat phobias. However, psychologists treat phobias without medication, in other words they use psychotherapy to treat phobias. On the other hand, psychiatrists use medication to treat phobias if the symptoms are severe enough to warrant medication. However, psychiatrists tend not to do that much therapy.
