Safe: Ivermectin (Stromectol) for pinworms is safe. It can have some side effects, including dizziness, but in general it is safe and there shouldn't be an issue with having an autoimmune disease and taking it. However, check with your doctor about whether any other medications you may be on would interact before starting the medicine.
