Yes: Von Willebrand's disease is also known as "vascular hemophilia"--often associated with nosebleeds and in ladies, prolonged menses. This disease can either be hereditary or can be acquired from medications. There are several types of von Willebrand disease and your hematologist can evaluate you and do some testing to decide if you have this problem and what you need to do to treat, if needed.
