It's rare and-: Vasculitic neuropathy is rare. It is an autoimmune illness. The immune system mistakenly attacks small blood vessels that nourish the nerves. This can cause pain, numbness and weakness. Often treatment includes medicine to prevent inflammation, such as prednisone, IVIG or other medications. It is not the same for everyone.
