A member asked:

What to do if i have a renal angiogram?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Renal angiogram: A renal angiogram is where they inject some contrast (dye) into your blood vessels to show what the vessels in your kidneys look like. Its important to drink plenty of fluid before hand and avoid anything damaging to the kidneys such as NSAIDS (ibuprofen, motrin, advil, aleve) as well as metformin or diuretics for the day of the test.
