Unclear question: A missed miscarriage is when a woman has a positive pregnancy test with an ultrasound that either shows a fetal pole with no cardiac activity or an enlarged sac that has no fetal pole. It typically takes at least two ultrasounds at least 48 hours apart and serial blood levels of human Chorionic Gonadotropin to diagnose a missed miscarriage accurately.
