A member asked:

What do you recommend if i had cartilage removed but still pain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Likely you are speaking about the cartilage in your knee since that is the most common place to have it removed. Pain can be from other things and includes patellofemoral syndrome and arthritis in the knee. You should go back to the doctor who removed the cartilage, be assessed and treated based on assessment - it could be further surgery, injections of physical therapy that is needed.
