Reflux: It can be normal for a 3 week old to spit up. As long as pt is not fussy with spitting and pt is gaining weight this can be normal. This is probably gastroesophageal reflux. Tends to worsen after about a month of age. You can keep pt in an elevated position after feedings for 30 minutes. Breastfed babies tend to spit up less. You can also try to exclusively breastfeed
