Not because of age: Sexual side effects are a well known issue with that family of medicines. You can talk to your doctor about an alternative. It can also be dose related and you might be able to cut down,however bipolar is very serious so talk to your doctor

No -- side effect: Celexa (citalopram) is an SSRI antidepressant, which can cause sexual side effects like decreased libido. This can happen no matter what your age. Please discuss with your psychiatrist.
