Sch.5 controlled sub: it is milder in comparison to other painkillers like oxycodone which i9s sch. 2 and addictive. Lyrica (pregabalin) has lot of serious side eff. so we have to be cautious.

Peripheral meuropath: No obvious reason to me as to why Lyrica (pregabalin) is classified as a controlled substance , other than to allow the FDA snd the DEA to review it . It does have a lot of side effects and I prefer to use other drugs to teat Neuropathy . They generally have less side effects . My Drug of choice is Topamax .
