What should i do if a glycerin suppository does not work?

Depends: If one is constipated, use a clear liquid diet for 24hrs, then orally administer mag citrate or go-lytely. If one has an acute diverticulitis, then antibiotics are needed, and a low residue diet should initially be followed.
