Head injury: Children suffering a head injury who lost consciousness (were knocked out) or who may have had a seizure need to go to the ER for immediate evaluation. If they did not lose consciousness, did not have a seizure, are acting normal than their parent should call their pediatrician for evaluation.

Closed head : Injury with possible seizures . It is urgent that you take your daughter to see her pediatrician or go to the emergency if she has other signs and symptoms ASAP! Runny nose may not be related to the incident. Do not give her any pain medications to avoid masking other signs and symptoms before being seen.
