Artificial tears: Naphcon is for mild allergies. This may or may not be the reason for your red eyes. Often it is just dryness. This is usually worse when you wake up cause your eyes don't get lubricated well while sleeping. Try artificial tears doing the day and an artificial tear ointment at night. If you have decreased vision, pain, discharge, or persistent redness, get an eye exam.
