A member asked:

Already slightly sore, but why do my breasts only hurt when i press them? (only above and underneath the nipple)

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Mild inflammation: Very mild swelling or inflammation of the nipple or areolar region of the breast may be sensitive only to light touch or pressure as opposed to constantly. That is simply a reflection of the grade of inflammation that's going on. Remedy? Don't press on them right now...see what happens in a few days and if not better or getting worse, see your doctor or gynecologist.
