Anoxia and treatment: Im so sorry to hear of your troubles. Lack of oxygen (anoxia) can lead to injury of the brain and different symptoms, including cognitive (thinking) changes. You certainly need to see a neurologist to start and have a full exam. There are specific forms of therapy, medication and programs that can likely be of help to you. Its very important for you to have a correct diagnoses and treatment now.

Anoxic injury : Cutting off the oxygen supply to the brain cause anoxic injuries. This could effect your ability to think. If this has occurred to you then please consider getting neuropsychological testing to check for any possible deficits. Take care.
