A member asked:

I have ra and was recently diagnosed w/tenosynovitis. will treatment be different b/c of the ra? i'm also a bartender. not moving it is not an option.

See details: It depends whether the tenosynovitis is secondary to the RA or if it is an unrelated problem. If it is secondary then meds should be adjusted to provide better control. A small local problem often resolves with a cortisone injection. You can really help your long term outlook by stopping smoking. Tobacco use makes the RA much worse.
