Avoid Narcotics: RA is inflammatory systemic disease. What you need is Anti-inflammatory medicines and Disease Modifying agents which will help you in the long run. As far as the narcotics are concerned will depend on your tolerance. Becareful about the Acetaminophin(Tylenol) toxicity, and the effect on your breathing because of too much Narcotics.Go to your PCP and get rheumatologist for further proper treatment
