Yes, very early: A pregnancy test may not be positive until about 14 days after conception. You can be pregnant during this time and not know it. Also in situations where the pregnancy isn't doing well such as an ectopic pregnancy or pending miscarriage, a home pregnancy test can be negative even though you are pregnant. With a few exceptions, such as I've listed, a home pregnancy test is about 97% correct.
