Bell's palsy: Most cases tracked to viral infections. Herpes simplex mostly but rarely Herpes Zoster. Can see in elderly with stroke and even brain tumors or sarcoidosis to mention a few

Varieties: Facial palsy means facial paralysis. Most common is Bell's Palsy, an viral infection. Other causes are facial injury (nerve cut), skull fracture, Parotid tumor, other cancers. stroke, MS, etc. Best plan is facial palsy develops is to see ENT doc first.
