Why?: It's never a good idea to use any medication for no known cause. Any medication can cause an adverse affect in somebody, if they're unlucky enough to be allergic to any active or inert component of that medication. Please see your pediatrician if you are concerned about your growth. (S)he'll tell you if referral to an endocrinologist is warranted.
