Failed abortion: I'm not sure what you've been told is correct. There are abnormally shaped uteruses, but any pregnancy can be aborted with current surgical instruments. At 5 weeks the pregnancy is very small and can be missed...this happens. If no pregnancy tissue was removed the pregnancy will be fine.
