Carpal tunnel: First I would ask you if carpal tunnel syndrome was diagnosed by physician or are you assuming this is what you have? If you do have Carpal tunnel and numbness is constant it is very likely time for surgery. This is especially true if you have tried splinting without success. You run the risk of permanent nerve damage. This is not terribly difficult or risky surgery.

Carpal tunnel: Tiingling and pain can be a sign of carpal tunnel syndrome. A wrist splint bought at the store and applied to be well fitting not tight can be a good start. non prescription over the counter remedy initially but longer use, talk to a pcp or family doctor. With constant numbness a nerve study and a consult with a hand surgeon is next http://www.handctr.com/carpal-tunnel-syndrome-95.html
