Pea-sized, hard, red, bump near upper spine. painful when layed on and pain from muscle it's near moving. just noticed today what should i do?

Local heat: It is probably a small boil or infected cyst. I would treat it with warm soaks with hot towels to see if it comes to a head and drains spontaneously. If if does not drain and resolve in the next day or two, see your physician as it may need to be lanced and antibiotics may be necessary.
